Haribo Advert
The Haribo advert is about the newest style of sweets they’ve just brought out this year. It came out in August 2011 and has caught the eye of young children already. It’s a fun and catchy advert with an upbeat song playing through out. it’s got a mum and dad and two young children in the advert, playing a young happy family and everything is going well.
Target Audience
Its target audience is mainly for family’s/ children, it’s aimed at family’s because within the advert it shows a family happy and loving the sweets. When family’s and young children see this on TV, they want that and by them having them sweets it might bring them that. By having a young boy and girl in the advert shows it relates to both genders and is aimed at anyone. With the childish, catchy song playing throughout and makes the children like the advert and remember it and want to buy the sweets. Also by the advert having the lyrics to the song along the bottom makes it more childish as this mean they can then sing along.
Sound/Music
There’s a cheesy, childish song playing throughout the whole advert, which has memorable lyrics. It even has them written along the bottom of the advert for the kids to sing along to. This attracts children to watch it and then want to buy the sweets. However singing the song is actually a young boy, which again relates it back to its target audience. It has the children in the advert miming to the song.
Special effects
They have special effects throughout the advert by having the lyrics along the bottom and the sweet bouncing along the lyrics in time with it being sung.
Setting/ Location
The setting of the advert is set in a country side outside a little shop. It’s set on a sunny and bright day which makes it more attractive and persuading.

Mise un Scene
In this still it’s clear that the bold colours create a happy, jolly atmosphere. Also it looks quite artificial and to good to be true. Which will then persuade the audience.
